classified are Indio and Pardo. The Indios roosters are
physically smaller than the pardos ones, but these last ones are more
aggressive. Both races usually do not surpass the 2.5 kg of
weight. The life expectancy it is not more than 10
years; although as of the fifth year the roosters begin to lose
quality and stop being profitable.
In one first and very simple explanation we can say that
the pen of the Indios is of plain color, and the pen of the pardos
is speckled. The range of colors of the Indios roosters goes from the
white to the black, happening through different grays; and
reddish the more or less yellowish ones. As far as the pardos roosters,
the different classes we classified them by the bottom color, and
mainly by the size and forms of the "speck", well-known like penca. Another own word of this
world is obra, being understood
by so the clean and usable size of a pen.
