The roosters live in a land of 2000 meters, divided in
five compartments. In each one of them there are roosters of the
same age to avoid confrontations. This is thus by the
aggressiveness of youngest. Altogether Chema counts on 300
roosters.
The hens are in another parcel of about 600 meters, divided by
races with their corresponding rooster. To select the race of
the rooster is easy, since it is seen in its pen; but with the
hens it is necessary to number them so that when they be adult to
cross them the corresponding male. From November to February Chema
selects the hens and they are transferred to the incubators.
Of this form Chema has obtained almost extinguished
races.
The refuges are made with wood, tiles and an inner insulator
against the cold one. Each certain meters there are wood
elevations so that the roosters can be raised, since when they are
raised in them no longer they itch.

The feeding of the roosters is natural: wheat,
corn, barley and natural grass. Ever since they are born the
chickens already begin to be vaccinated and pampered. It is
necessary to carry far the cares of the roosters and to maintain the
hen house clean to have these as impressive animals as Chema has them.
A daily dedication is essential if we want that the diseases do
not decrease the hen house.
